Innovation Connect

Connect and learn from leading social entrepreneurs

Innovation Connect is responsible for spearheading the planning and execution of our year-round programming, including speaker series and pre-professional panels. Every semester, we host what we call, "Cheesecake Chats," where social entrepreneurs from the Harvard community and around the world engage with students about a topic they are passionate about or a project they are working on. Additionally, Innovation Connect runs a campus-wide mentorship program involving students from all the Harvard schools. The mentorship program is an excellent resource for students from different academic disciplines to connect and learn from one another.

Impact Fellows

Harvard's leading student-organized social impact internship match program

SIC’s Impact Fellows Board seeks to connect high-achieving Harvard College undergraduates interested in social innovation and social entrepreneurship with internships at partner organizations working on socially innovative projects. In the past, SIC has partnered with ArtLifting, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Nature Conservancy, and the Boston Public School System among others. The Impact Fellows Program mission is not only to provide enriching opportunities to students but also to connect organizations that may not have the funding capable to recruit interns with passionate and highly driven Harvard College students over the winter, school year, and summer.

Synergy

Harvard's leading social enterprise incubator

Synergy is a cross-cultural social enterprise incubator which enables students to tackle the world’s most prevalent social issues in transformative ways. Through award-winning entrepreneur guest speakers, business skill workshops, field trips to some of the most innovative business spaces in Boston, opportunities for business plan development mentorship, and international networking, Synergy walks you through the process of building a social enterprise - from ideation to business development to investment pitching.

Village to Raise a Child

Village to Raise a Child is a program that identifies and nurtures five young entrepreneurs from around the world. These five students—called “Global Trailblazers”—are invited to come to Harvard to attend and present their ideas at the annual Igniting Innovation Summit, giving them the tools, skills and resources they need to execute their community-based projects.

First-Year Board

SIC's First-Year Board's foundational vision is to foster new generations of SIC members by encouraging students to discover passions in social innovation and entrepreneurship and connecting them to the right resources within SIC. We are the glue that brings SIC together as a community through term-time events including study breaks, speaker panels, and discussion groups. First-Year Board members act as liaisons for their respective class years and drive the creation and implementation of events.
